Senior Solution Architect IT Service Management (ITSM)

Our Consumer Data Area, part of the tribe Tech4Engineering, streamlines access to all IT4IT related information to the rest of the bank. As a Solution Architect you play a key role in shaping the architecture for our IT Service Management solution. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business stakeholders, Delegate Process Owners, (Sr) Tech Leads, DevOps Engineers, and fellow (Solution & Business) Architects to design solutions that are compliant, scalable, and aligned with the bank’s strategic goals.

As Solution Architect IT Service Management, you design and maintain the architectural blueprint for all IT4IT Service Management tooling & data, collaborating with experts and making a real impact on our digital transformation.

Your focus:

Your focus will be primarily on the functional and business aspects of architecture - understanding IT Service Management requirements, translating business needs into architectural designs by acting as a bridge between business and IT, and guiding teams in implementing these solutions. You are also “the go to” person for our DevOps Engineers. Meanwhile, technical knowledge allows you to engage more effectively in discussions around platforms, data flows, and integration.

Examples of practices:

• Create Project Start Architectures (PSAs) and solution outlines for ITSM
• Translate functional requirements into scalable and compliant architectural designs
• Contribute to domain-specific roadmaps, principles, and standards
• Support compliance and audit requirements through robust architectural design and decisions
• Mentor and coach teams to implement architectural designs and support them throughout the delivery process

Architectural Leadership:

• Evolve the architecture of IT Service Management, recently migrated to HaloITSM with the independent API and data layer.
• Govern and enrich our CMDB data in our enterprise Configuration Management System that brings data from a multitude of sources together and creates meaningful information out of it.

Team Leadership:

• Co-lead the Squad triangle together with the Product Owner and the Tech Lead or representative
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and the Tech Lead or representative to manage the IT Service Management Services, balancing business priorities, technical feasibility, and operational excellence.
• Guide and oversee the work in the IT Service Management squads in line with the target architecture and area purpose.
• Foster an open culture of continuous improvement and DevOps maturity.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with a wide group of stakeholders across the bank to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
• Communicate the architectural vision and roadmap to stakeholders and leadership.

Vereisten

• Diepgaande kennis van IT Service Management tooling in zowel SaaS (public cloud) als on-premises omgevingen, met sterke kennis van ITSM/ITIL-principes.

• 5+ jaar professionele ervaring, waaronder 2+ jaar in IT service delivery, solution architecture, of business analyse binnen financiële dienstverlening of complexe ondernemingen.

• Bewezen ervaring in het moderniseren van ITSM-platforms en het integreren ervan met API-first backends en analytics-ecosystemen.

• Sterke vaardigheden in service architectuur, inclusief service taxonomie, service catalogus ontwerp, en CMDB modellering (CIs, relaties, federatie vs. centralisatie).

• Vermogen om schaalbare API-lagen te ontwerpen en te beheren (REST-standaarden, versiebeheer, beveiliging, throttling, observability).

• Diepgaande kennis van Azure integratiediensten (API Management, Functions/App Service, Event Grid, Service Bus) en ervaring met Azure data & analytics platforms (Data Lake, Synapse/Databricks, Data Factory, Power BI).

• Solide basis in Azure-beveiliging (Entra ID, Managed Identities, Key Vault, RBAC/ABAC, netwerkbeveiliging) en het vermogen om business/ITSM-behoeften te vertalen naar architecturale beslissingen en roadmaps.

• Sterke communicatie-, stakeholder management- en documentatievaardigheden.

• Vermogen om teams te begeleiden, de grote lijnen te verbinden met concrete stappen, en effectief te werken in complexe multi-stakeholder omgevingen.

• Locatie in Nederland en het wettelijke recht om in Nederland te werken.
