You provide specialised knowledge and skills in a specific area of expertise to drive innovation and support successful execution of projects, initiatives, innovations and/or daily operations.

Taken & Verantwoordelijkheden

• Maintain and develop TenneT’s core high-voltage grid model and derived network models for national and European power system analyses.
• Manage model changes, data quality, and information requests to ensure accurate and reliable modelling data.
• Continuously improve network models and underlying datasets through analysis, research, and innovation initiatives.
• Collaborate with operational teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment, consistency, and quality across network models.
• Represent TenneT in national and European modelling and data management activities, including ENTSO-E working groups.
• Share expertise, support colleagues with modelling and software-related challenges, and contribute to the development of a centrally managed, company-wide grid model.

Jouw profiel

• Master’s degree (MSc) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline, with strong knowledge of electrical power systems and transmission networks.
• Proven experience conducting high-voltage grid studies and applying model-based approaches to solve complex technical challenges.
• Hands-on experience in electrical grid modelling and network analysis.
• Experience with grid modelling software; knowledge of PowerFactory is considered an advantage.
• Experience with Python programming and/or the development of analytical tools is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with professional proficiency in English; Dutch language skills are considered an advantage.
