Over de Functie
Team up with ING in Amsterdam, a leading international bank at the forefront of technology innovation and digitalization within the industry. As Tribe Lead Technology Procurement, you will lead a global team to develop, implement, and execute an organisation-wide procurement technology category strategy.
In this high-impact role, you will manage global and local technology procurement spend, optimize employee capabilities, achieve strategic objectives, and deliver competitive advantage through cost base reductions while keeping sustainability at the heart of operations.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Setting the delivery of technology category management across all in-scope global services and aligning category strategy with company-wide priorities.
- Executing agreed initiatives to improve cost, reduce risk, drive ESG improvements, and enhance colleague experience.
- Developing deep insight into global technology spend, contracts, business requirements, and market dynamics.
- Driving commercial value and operational excellence through strategic sourcing, demand management, and digitization.
- Building and managing strategic supplier partnerships to enhance service performance and foster innovation.
- Establishing and leading governance, policies, and decision-making forums that align stakeholders.
- Leading, developing, and inspiring a high-performing global procurement team.
Eisen
- Minimum 15 years of relevant procurement experience.
- Successful track record of full technology end-to-end category management delivery and executive stakeholder engagement.
- Deep knowledge of the financial regulatory environment and technology risks/opportunities.
- Proven ability to develop a global technology category strategy and gain sign off across a complex organisation.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of connecting people and fostering inclusion.

Minimum 15 years of relevant procurement experience
Successful track record of full technology end to end category management delivery
Deep knowledge of the financial regulatory environment and technology risks
Track record of developing a global technology category strategy and implementation plan
Ability to influence, direct and regulate the activity of key technology stakeholders
