Associate / Vice President – Acquisition Finance NL & DACH

ING’s Acquisition Finance (AF) NL & DACH team is looking to hire an Associate or Vice President to join our team in Amsterdam. This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in the origination and execution of complex leveraged finance transactions for leading private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies and leveraged corporates across the Benelux and DACH regions.

Wat ga je doen?

• Leading the day-to-day management of transaction processes, under the supervision of deal principals.
• Steering key workstreams as part of the internal credit approval process, incl. financial and risk analyses.
• Driving discussions with internal stakeholders, including Risk and approval committees.
• Working closely with the Loan Syndicate team on syndication processes and investor marketing materials.
• Preparing client pitches, contributing to originating new business opportunities and overall client management.
• Coaching and mentoring of analysts, trainees and interns.
• Reviewing transaction documentation and negotiating key terms with external counsel.

Wat breng je mee?

• University degree.
• 4-8 years of working experience, preferably with an advisory, capital markets and/or lending background.
• Strong credit analysis and financial modelling capabilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Fluency in English.
