Are you curious, creative, and always looking for the story behind the story? As a Student Editor at Radboudumc, you will join our research institute and help turn science into engaging and inspiring content to share within our research community and through our channels.
Your focus will be on the people, practices, ideas, and stories behind research, for our own research community and our own channels, such as the weekly research newsletter and LinkedIn.
Wat ga je doen?
- Actively look for interesting stories within our research institute by talking to researchers
- Create various formats such as interviews, vlogs, blogs, newsletters, and social media posts
- Take ownership of a story from the initial idea to a publication-ready concept
- Plan interviews, follow up on agreements, and keep track of deadlines
- Write and edit content in English, translating scientific topics into clear and accessible stories
Jouw profiel
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in communication, journalism, media, or a related field (or a scientific discipline with a communication background)
- Affinity for communication, writing, and content creation with a journalistic mindset
- Independent, proactive, and curious with excellent English writing and communication skills
